Testimonials from the Training in Italy

Last month was very important for all the partners of the project EPOC. We are really happy to share with you the story of our international training in Italy (Vibo Valentia, 08-12.06.2019). During that meeting, we had the opportunity to create workshops and lectures that we will use in the ToolKit Guide of our project. While watching the video you will see a lot of work and memories. Share, like, comment and have fun!

The training was held in Vibo Valentia, Italy, from 6 to 12 June 2019.

The training, facilitated by members of staff from the participating organisations, was focused on the following topics:

  • How to develop entrepreneurial skills in the cultural heritage field
  • Cultural heritage and business – principles of sustainable development
  • Understanding the needs of the cultural heritage and combine them with the needs of adults from disadvantaged groups
  • The connection between cultural heritage and social inclusion

The training was also a chance to learn about local traditions by taking part in dedicated workshops, such as a pizza-making workshop and a workshop for making apotropaich masks. Also, we visited local entrepreneurs in the cultural heritage, such as the many workshops in renowned Tropea, or the silk museum and workshop in San Floro.
